Editorial Policy and Sourcing Rules
Every factual claim on this site traces to a public source that is linked and dated. We do not publish invented reviews, unattributed statistics, or test results we did not run. Corrections are made against the provider's own pages and change the card's checked date.

What gets published
A claim reaches this site when it can be traced to a page anybody can open. Fee figures come from pricing pages. Verification requirements come from terms of service and onboarding documentation. Asset and network lists come from the provider’s own asset pages. Each card in the catalogue records the URLs used and the date somebody last looked at them.
Numbers in prose are never retyped by hand. They are substituted from the card fields at build time, which means a page cannot quote a rate the card does not hold. This removes the most common failure in this category, where a listing is updated in one place and stays wrong in six others. The methodology page covers how the numbers reach the score.
What never gets published
Invented user reviews, quotations attributed to merchants we did not speak to, screenshots of dashboards we never logged into, and results of tests we did not run. This rule has no exceptions and it is the reason several sections that competitors carry are simply absent here.
Statistics without a source and a date. A figure that cannot be checked is not evidence, and repeating one because it appears everywhere else is how bad numbers survive in a category for years.
Ranking positions sold, traded, or adjusted after a commercial conversation. If that ever changes, this page changes first.
How mistakes are handled
We will get things wrong. Pricing pages change without notice, terms move between documents, and a provider’s global asset list frequently differs from what is live for merchants in a given country.
When an error is reported, the cited page is re-checked. A corrected card gets a new checked date and an entry in its change list, so the correction is visible rather than quietly applied. Cards older than 120 days are flagged for re-checking whether or not anyone has complained, because a stale figure presented confidently is the same problem as a wrong one.
Sponsored content
There is none. No provider has written, reviewed, or approved any page on this site before publication, and no page exists because a provider asked for it. Commercial arrangements that do exist are described on the disclosure page in plain terms.
Questions merchants ask
What counts as an acceptable source?
Provider documentation, pricing pages, terms of service, and public registries. Secondary reporting is used only where no primary source exists, and the card says so explicitly when that is the case.
Do you publish user reviews?
No. Review volume in this category is heavily gamed. Where a provider carries a genuine external aggregate rating, we link the source rather than restating the number as if we had gathered it.
What happens when a provider disputes a figure?
We re-check the cited page. If the page changed, the card is updated with a new checked date and the change is listed. If the page still says what we quoted, the figure stays.
